Ronstadt family papers, 1777-1982 (bulk 1862-1960).

Family correspondence, speeches, notes, a business ledger, scrapbooks, military documents, genealogy, and sheet music relating to the Ronstadt family and their hardware business. Of particular interest are the personal scrapbooks and handwritten music highlighting the professional career of Luisa Espinel between 1915 and 1933. Some of this music was published in her book "Canciones de mi Padre: Spanish Songs from the Southwest." There is a summary of Federico A. Ronstadt's military service, family genealogy and correspondence, and speeches and reminiscences from Fred Ronstadt about his carriage making trade, his days as a bandleader, and about life in Tucson at the turn of the century. There is also an inventory ledger from the F. Ronstadt Hardware Company for 1938.
